Maleas means noise, clamor. It’s a cape that causes fear and terror to sailors and is considered amongst the most dangerous capes across the Mediterranean. Cape Maleas or Cavo Malias greatly inspired writers since the dawn of history and literature. Spring at Kotronas village

Spring is the perfect season for exploring Peloponnese. During the last week of March, we visited Kotronas, a seaside village at eastern Mani. It was a wonderful experience. Wild flowers, clear blue sky, warm weather.

A hike at Lousios gorge and a visit to Prodromou and Philosophou monasteries

After spending a beautiful night  at the Asclepieio of Gortys we decided to join Rennate and George, a German couple we met the day before, for a morning hike at Lousios gorge. Christos went fishing trout at the river.
